Becoming a Guaranteed Irish brand

Growing up in Ireland in the 1970’s was a memorable experience for a Dublin child. We were surrounded by innovation everywhere, people trying new things, reaching for growth and expression, the combination of both generated a unique situation whereby a handful of iconic Irish staples, what we now refer to as “Brands” were born..
For this child of the 70’s immediately I think back to Dublin’s Dandelion Market, U2, and of course Guaranteed Irish. While “The Dandelion” remains a strong memory now, the other two have never meant as much to our small nation. Both guiding lights, both changing so eloquently with the times, and both representing the island of Ireland with such nobility.
As a child I instinctively understood the importance of the Guaranteed Irish message, I knew that we had the power to communicate our capabilities to the world, and I knew, as storytellers, that we were uniquely placed to do so..
So yesterday, May 26th 2021, this wee Dublin (somewhat older)child finally joined the ranks as a Guaranteed Irish member, bringing my Irish premium brand Runway 28 Premium Irish Gin into the folds of a family that I have simply known for most of my life.
In the words of yet another Iconic treasure “It’s a beautiful day”…
